Ellen was born and brought up in Yeovil, Somerset. Music and singing were always close by, whether it was her dad's jazz and blues tunes playing around the house, or singing during summer trips over to her Gran's farm in Wadebridge, Cornwall. She now lives in Loughborough in the East Midlands with her husband and cats.
